PADI Advanced Open Water and Nitrox Course in Krabi, Dive Deeper and Stay Longer
The PADI Advanced Open Water and Nitrox course in Krabi combines two certifications into one 2-day program. You complete five adventure dives while also gaining your Enriched Air Nitrox qualification, giving you more flexibility and longer bottom times from the moment you finish.
The Advanced Open Water portion includes dives focused on deep diving, underwater navigation, and three adventure dives of your choice, such as drift diving, night diving, or underwater photography. All dives take place at Ao Nang or Phi Phi Islands with a PADI instructor by your side.
Adding Nitrox to the course means you can stay underwater longer and reduce surface intervals between dives. It is particularly useful when diving the reefs around Krabi, where you want to make the most of every dive.

Health: Participants must be in good health. A medical questionnaire is required before diving. Please let us know in advance if you have any heart, lung, or ear conditions, asthma, epilepsy, or are pregnant.
What You Should Know?
The course covers 5 adventure dives over 2 days at Ao Nang or Koh Phi Phi, with all dives completed on Nitrox tanks. You earn two certifications: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Enriched Air Nitrox. All equipment, a dive computer, PADI materials, insurance, hotel pickup, and lunch are included in the 17,500 THB course price.
The Advanced Open Water course involves 5 dives over 2 days, so you are doing multiple dives per day. Nitrox extends your no-decompression limits on each of those dives and shortens the surface intervals required between them. The minimum age is 12 years, and you must already hold a valid PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent to enroll.
Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation are mandatory. Your 3 remaining adventure dives are chosen from options available at Ao Nang and Phi Phi sites, including Drift Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Digital Underwater Photographer, Fish Identification, Wreck Diver, and others. Mr. Dolphin recommends the best combination based on your interests and current conditions.
