Luca and his team were fantastic.
First, we went to the shop to find out what options were available for me (I have a diving certificate but had been out for a long time) and my boyfriend (a beginner). Luca gave us excellent and helpful advice and recommended the day with the best weather forecast.
Before the trip, we tried on fins so we'd have the right size for the dive.
There were three of us on the longtail boat with four instructors.
My boyfriend and I had a 3:2 instructor ratio.
Luca had an underwater camera and took some beautiful pictures of us on our first dive.
We did two one-hour dives at two different locations. Between dives, we had an hour's break and were served freshly cut pineapple.
After the second dive, we had warm rice with vegetables and meat.
Everyone on the boat spoke excellent English, and communication was no problem.
The transfer from the hotel was free.
Prices:
Open Water Diver: 3,000 Baht
Without certification: 4,000 Baht (total €180)
The price was unbeatable and the service was wonderful, so we felt completely well looked after and safe.

Fantastic experience with the dive center! It had been a while since I'd gone diving and used my open water certification, but my instructor took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and we made some amazing discoveries underwater. Snacks, lunch, and water were included!

A huge thank you to the entire Mr. Dolphin team for this magnificent two-dive trip to Koh Phi Phi. The team takes excellent care of its clients and always offers drinks throughout the trip. A massive thank you to Carlotta for her attentiveness and advice. I was a little apprehensive about my first dive in a natural environment, but she made me feel completely at ease all day long. A truly memorable day; I highly recommend it. Top-notch! 👍🏻

I spent three days diving with Mr. Dolphin Diving and had a great experience from start to finish. I also did my Advanced Open Water with them!
Everything was very well organized, which made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. The boat was clean and never overcrowded, so there was always space to relax properly after each dive.
The instructors were professional and supportive, and the crew on board were fantastic throughout. There were always snacks after each dive, the food was tasty, and the team made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. Pickup was consistently arranged, which made logistics very easy.
A special thank you to Luca, On, Luck, and Alex — we enjoyed our dives so much because of you. 🐟❤️

10/10 experience.
I went diving with Mr Dolphin Diving and had a great time. My girlfriend who does not dive joined the boat and went snorkelling. Everyone from the dive center was super cool and nice

We had the best experience with Luca and his team. They took the children for their first discover scuba dives, were really safe, made the theory fun, and had eyes on them 100% which meant we could enjoy the diving too. The boat journey to Phi Phi took about an hour (2 X 250hp engines!!), provided a delicious lunch, plenty of drinks with seasickness tablets / ORS on board if needed. The boat crew were helpful and friendly and we were blessed with great conditions. We dived 2 days with them and are looking forward to returning. Would recommend for beginners and experienced divers alike.

Fantastic shop! Did my first ever two dives in the Phi Phi Islands. Onuma made the experience so amazing and she is incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and safe. The rest of the boat crew and other dive instructors were amazing as well. Highly recommend this shop/experience for any nature or adventure lovers!

I highly recommend Mr. Dolphin for your diving trip. For me it’s started in the office where I met an amazing manger who helped me to select the best trip, he advised me what will be better according to my schedule including the weather and risks. The spot for diving was Phi Phi islands (it’s far from the land and risky, if it’s stormy the trip will be moved to another day).
It was an amazing experience, we’ve seen sharks, turtles and snakes (I couldn’t imagine that before diving).
I’d like to say thank you to my instructor Luck who was as a friend during that trip, we discuss what to do and the whole plan on the boat, so I knew what to expect. The atmosphere on the boat was amazing, we laughed the whole trip.
I definitely could say that small details around your main goal will affect on the result and with this team I felt happy.

We had so much fun! Thanks Mr. Dolphin for that great scuba diving experience at Koh Phi Phi.
For fellow divers; we are a Canadian couple who were looking to dive in Ao Nang. We walked the town and visited several shop but Gianiuca gave us the best vibe.
The boat crew was good, the boat very clean, lunch provided super good, our guide very knowledgeable and helpful. The equipment is well maintained and prices reasonable. We also liked that we were a small group to dive and diver to instructor ratio 4:1.
We recommend this dive shop and wouldn't hesitate to go dive with them again.

I had a truly great experience doing my Open Water lesson with Mr Dolphin and Onuma as an instructor. Small group, lot of patience and much more experience to catch the best spots during the dives. Boat crew was also amazing and very friendly. We dove in Koh Phi Phi, at time and location that were not crowded so it was best conditions to get first dives and see incredible nature. Owner and mananger Luca was very easy to reach on Whatsapp, everything was so smooth it was highly appreciated 😊 Thanks a lot for the three days.

PERFECT SERVICE! We did the diving with Luca, we became fascinated, not only by everything we could see under the water, but by all of Luca's kindness. He showed us many species such as zebra sharks, blacktip sharks, blue-spotted rays, seahorses and many more. Don't waste your time looking for another agency, if you are in Ao Nang, don't hesitate, Mr Dolphin is the best option.

I didn't choose the diving school directly, Marvin, the diving instructor I was with, was recommended to me. Was a mega experience!
The Open Water Diver costs a whole lot of money, that should be clear in advance, but it was definitely incredibly organized, everything was very uncomplicated and reliable, with taxi service, and lunch between the dives, a group of participants put together on request, etc. So the course is definitely worth the money!
Marvin did a really strong job, was patient in every situation and took all participants along with him! I learned a lot, especially about what you see when diving, and had a lot of fun! Even if it was a bit tough at the beginning.

The diving experience has been absolutely amazing. We decided to made the tour to Phi Phi & didn't regret it. Luca is such a nice guy and his team is super lovely. They make you feel welcomed, safe and make your diving experience to a 10 out of 10.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Mr. Dolphin Diving - no wonder it has the best rating in town! As a beginner diver, I felt completely at ease thanks to Luca’s expertise. He was knowledgeable and helpful during the dive. I learned so much throughout the experience and felt confident the entire time.
The dive itself was magical, with incredible marine life. Luca knew the perfect spots to spot the animals and I swam through shoals of fish, saw a turtle, Murray and other creatures. Luca also took amazing photos and videos of me during the dive, so I was able to capture what I saw! :)The post-dive lunch was delicious, and the mango sticky rice and watermelon were perfect snacks!
Overall, the team’s attention to detail was outstanding and ensured I had a safe & memorable experience. I had a fantastic time and will definitely dive again with Mr Dolphin when I’m back 🙂

The diving experience with Luca was amazing! Did the 2 fun dives to Phi Phi and the underwater world here is stunning! On top, Luca took his camera and caught the underwater moments for me!

I’ve never been scuba diving before and the process to book and attend was great. Our instructor Alex was attentive and was by our side the entire time. He made sure I was calm and comfortable. We saw sharks and schools of fish. Highly recommend!
