Deep Diver

The PADI Deep Dive course is a specialized scuba diving course designed to teach certified divers how to safely and effectively explore deeper depths. This course is usually taken after a diver has completed their Open Water Diver certification and has gained some experience diving.
The course typically involves several dives in the open water, where students will learn about the physiological effects of diving deeper, how to plan and execute deep dives, how to manage gas consumption and safety stops, and how to use specialized equipment like dive computers and underwater lights.
The course requires a minimum of four open water dives, with a maximum depth of 40 meters (130 feet). Students will also need to pass a knowledge review and a final exam to receive their PADI Deep Diver certification.
