A Project AWARE diver is a certified scuba diver who is passionate about ocean conservation and actively participates in Project AWARE initiatives to protect and preserve the underwater environment. Project AWARE is a non-profit organization that aims to connect and empower a global community of divers and ocean advocates to take action for a cleaner and healthier ocean.

Project AWARE divers are encouraged to participate in activities such as beach cleanups, marine debris surveys, and underwater conservation efforts. They also have the opportunity to become involved in policy advocacy and contribute to scientific research on marine conservation issues.
