PADI Rescue Diver Course in Krabi, Learn to Prevent and Manage Dive Emergencies

The PADI Rescue Diver course is a popular scuba diving course designed to teach divers how to prevent and manage diving emergencies. The course is designed to build upon the skills and knowledge gained during previous scuba diving courses, such as the PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses.

During the PADI Rescue Diver course, students will learn about dive first aid, dive rescue procedures, and how to recognize and respond to potential diving emergencies.

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, students must have completed the PADI Advanced Open Water course or have equivalent certification from another organization. Additionally, students must be at least 12 years old and have completed the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) course within the past 24 months.Upon completion of the PADI Rescue Diver course, students will receive a certification card and be eligible to participate in additional scuba diving courses, such as the PADI Divemaster course.

Health: Participants must be in good health. A medical questionnaire is required before diving. Please let us know in advance if you have any heart, lung, or ear conditions, asthma, epilepsy, or are pregnant.

What You Should Know?

The PADI Rescue Diver course is a 2-day advanced course at Mr. Dolphin’s Ao Nang dive center in Krabi. It covers dive emergency prevention and management through 10 structured exercises and 2 full open water rescue scenarios at either Ao Nang or Koh Phi Phi dive sites.

To enroll, you need a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent, a current PADI EFR certificate from within the past 24 months, and to be at least 12 years old. If your EFR has lapsed, Mr. Dolphin can run it alongside the Rescue course to keep things on schedule.

Yes. Mr. Dolphin can arrange rescue dive scenarios at either Ao Nang or Koh Phi Phi dive sites. Open water scenarios in the diverse conditions at Phi Phi give you experience managing rescue situations in real, varied dive environments. Marine park fees apply for Phi Phi-based course days.

Yes. The PADI Rescue Diver certification is a direct prerequisite for the PADI Divemaster course. Many divers who complete their Rescue Diver course at Mr. Dolphin in Krabi continue straight into the Divemaster internship program from the same Ao Nang base.
